The trunks and roots of a tree in the tropical rainforest

The tropical rainforest is one of the wettest palaces on earth. It rains almost at the same time each day. Animals and plants had to be true professionals to survive these extreme settings. Plants, especially tall trees have to find a way to be staple. The massive rainfalls caused a very thin layer of soil which makes is hard for those tall trees to be stable. Like always has the nature found a way to make it possible for tree to set there. The nature gave the trees wide trunks and roots to resist the unstable ground. Also, the roots of the trees cannot go far into the ground to get enough soil to grow. That's why the roots cover a greater are than the thickness of the steam to get enough soil.
